Trophies

Rare OS keeps your achievements in one trophy case. Today it shows the Steam achievements on your device. Once Rare trophies are live on Sui, the trophies you hold show next to them, with tiers, points and how rare each one is among Rare players.

Open the trophy case

• Your profile: the Trophies row. Press the summary card for the full trophy case, or a game's card for that game.
• A Steam game's page: Trophies.

Steam achievements

Rare reads your Steam achievements from Steam's own files on the device. There is nothing to sign in to. A game shows up once it has run on this device at least once.

The trophy case lists your games with unlocked and total counts and completion. Inside a game you see every achievement: unlocked ones with their date, locked ones greyed out, and hidden ones covered until you unlock them.

Unlock pop-ups

When you unlock an achievement, a pop-up shows its name and game under the top bar. Pop-ups wait while a game is running and show when you are back in Rare Launcher.

Tiers and points

Each Rare trophy has a tier and points:

Rarity is the share of Rare players who hold a trophy. Where Rare has no data yet, the trophy case shows Steam's global share instead.

Studio issued and self-reported

Every trophy says where it came from:

• Studio issued: the game's studio gave it out. See Trophies for studios.
• Self-reported: claimed from your Steam achievements. Steam's files on your device are the only proof, and anyone can edit them, so these are always marked Self-reported. Your profile shows what share of your score is self-reported.

Claim trophies to your wallet

Once claiming is open, a game's page in the trophy case shows Claim with the number of unlocked achievements that can be claimed. Pressing it claims them all in one transaction, which you approve in Rare Wallet. Your trophy profile is created in the same transaction the first time.

Trophies are bound to your account. They cannot be sold or sent. See Trophies contract for how they work on Sui.
