Take screenshots and 30 second clips in Rare OS, store them on Walrus, and share them as a rare.market/s link anyone can open.

Share keeps your screenshots and clips from Rare OS, and turns any of them into a link anyone can open on rare.market. The file is stored on Walrus and your wallet pays for the storage.

You feel a short rumble when it is saved. The game keeps the screen, and when you are back in Rare Launcher a Screenshot saved or Clip saved toast tells you.

You can also capture from:

  • Quick settings: Screenshot, Save clip and Open Share.
  • Share itself: Take screenshot and Save last 30 seconds.

In desktop mode, Guide + Y saves a screenshot too.

Keep the last 30 seconds

Clips come from a recording that runs in the background while a game is running, so the last 30 seconds are always ready to save. It uses a little battery.

It is on by default. To turn it off, open Share and switch off Keep the last 30 seconds while playing. With it off, Guide + View tells you clips are off.

Open Share

  • Home, the On Sui row, Share. The tile shows how many captures are new.
  • Quick settings, Open Share.
  • Settings, System, Screenshots and clips.

The Recent grid lists every capture on this device, with the game it came from. New ones are marked.

Share a link

  1. Open a capture

    Pick a screenshot or clip from Recent.

  2. Choose how long to keep it

    1 month or 1 year. X switches between them. Rare shows the price from live Walrus prices: about how much WAL, plus the SUI fees.

  3. Press Share

    Approve twice in Rare Wallet: one approval pays for the storage, the other confirms it after the upload.

  4. Send the link

    Rare shows a QR code and the link. Scan the code with your phone, or press Copy link.

Your account needs WAL for the storage and a little SUI for the fees. You can swap for WAL in Trade.

Anyone with the link can see the capture. Delete in Share removes the file from this device only. A shared copy stays on Walrus for the time you paid for.

The share page

Each link opens a page at rare.market/s/.... It shows:

  • the screenshot, or the clip playing in place
  • the game, linked to its rare.market page when it has one
  • who shared it, by SuiNS name when you have one, and the date

The page has a Copy link button. Pasted into Telegram or Discord, a clip link plays inline. On X, it shows as a large image card.
